The Mavic Crosstrail Disc is a tubeless compatible, disc-specific cross country wheelset. A great upgrade for any XC bike, the Crosstrail Disc wheels have welded Maxtal aluminum rims for maxium strength and lightness. Mavic's FORE system means that only one rim wall is drilled, making the rim four times more resistant to fatigue stress, and makes for a stiffer rim. The FTS-X hub and cassette body improves on the standard freehub with strengthened pawls and self-locking axle end screws, and serviceable sealed-cartridge bearings.
